Our Wedding

Christian and Renee met in the spring of 2018 in the front end of Menards. Christian had just started weeks prior to officially meeting. Christian pushed carts and Renee was a cashier. They never really acknowledged each other until the check out line. Christian always has said that is was Renee's long blonde hair that caught his eye! One day, Christian came up to the registers with a case of Calypso lemonade and Renee of course had to ask him why he was buying so many. Days later, Christian asked Renee what her snapchat was and found her on Facebook using a coworkers friend's list! After days of messaging each other and hanging out outside of work, Christian asked Renee out on the night of June 14th, 2018 at Blackhawk Springs in Rockford after a long shift at work. Christian and Renee became best friends instantly! Over the years, Christian and Renee learned a lot about each other and even went to college together! They love to do all of the outdoor activities and traveling is one of them! Renee was introduced to Copper Harbor, MI from Christian early on in their relationship and made it a habit of going up there every year in the fall. Over 4 years later, Christian proposed to Renee on October 14th, 2022, in Copper Harbor, MI right on the Lake Superior shoreline. This was a total shock to Renee as they talked about an engagement the following year. Christian really gave his all in planning this(shocker) and Renee just couldn't believe after the proposal that her best friend, Hannah(and Ethan), would come out of those woods. Christian and Renee went to college together and graduated, obtained their first career jobs, and are now wanting to spend their entire lives together! It is finally time to celebrate their love.

Our Adventures in Pictures

Hannah and Renee were introduced through Girl Scouts at a young age.  They grew closer in middle school and Hannah would always remember Renee's lunch code when Renee didn't remember.  Christian and Hannah even became good friends and Renee couldn't be happier to go on double dates! Renee couldn't imagine her big day without her!

Cassie was introduced to Renee by a former friend of theirs in middle school. Cassie lived right down the street which ended in many sleepovers together! Cassie even made Renee's Facebook!  Cassie and Renee were inseparable until Cassie finally moved. Since then, Cassie and Renee still make time for each other!  Renee is so thankful for Cassie to be by her side on her wedding day!

Erin and Renee met while working the good ole front end at Menards.  Erin and Renee have always stayed close, even though Erin is a bad texter! Renee is so excited to have Erin stand by her side even though Erin always beats her in Battleship!

Lainie and Renee have always known of each other in school as Lainie is a year younger, but never talked until computer class in high school.  They shared some good laughs dealing with Ms. Murphy! After that class was over, they never talked until...Renee started working at the same dental office as Lainie without either of them knowing.  The dental office ended up putting Lainie and Renee as partners working for the same dentist.  Lainie was the first to call as soon as she found out about Renee's engagement! Renee can't wait to have the "life of the party" stand by her side.

Christian met Randon through the local jeep club.  They(and Renee, of course) have spent their time off roading together in Michigan and Indiana on multiple occasions.  On one of those occasions at Badlands Off-Road Park in Indiana, Renee broke the handle to the shower and Randon had to be the one to call for repairs.  It was too late in the night to repair, so they got an upgraded room for free!  Randon is always down for a good time and Christian is happy to have Randon by his side for his big day!  Christian and Renee can't wait to see Randon's dance moves!

What a surprise? Christian's older brother, Martin.  Christian and Martin spent their whole childhood together, growing up.  They share the same hobbies which involve the great outdoors; fishing, snowmobiling, and shooting.  Christian is happy to have his older brother standing by him on his big day! 

Martin

Christian and Jimmy were childhood best friends.  They went to school together, were in Boy Scouts together, and lived down the street from each other!  Renee and Jimmy actually took a summer Chemistry class together at RVC, without planning it!  Jimmy always wanted all of the answers(jk..maybe).  Jimmy is the "life of the party" and can't wait to show his dance moves!  Christian wouldn't want his big day without Jimmy by his side!

Christian met Nate at college, they started at the same time and graduated together with their electrical certificate!  They have stayed close since graduating as they share the same career!  Nate always knows how to have a good time and Christian is excited to see Nate on the dance floor!
