WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
Both the ceremony and reception will both be held at Riverdale Manor. The address for the venue is 62 Pitney Road, Lancaster, PA 17602. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM and the reception will immediately follow, beginning with cocktail hour.
ARE YOU OFFERING TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE WEDDING VENUE?
Yes, we are providing a shuttle for guests to and from the Lancaster Marriott hotel, as this is where our hotel block is reserved. The shuttle will leave the hotel to head to the venue at 3:45 PM and will return guests to the hotel at 10:10 and 10:50 PM. If a guest misses the shuttle bus, they are responsible for finding their own transportation to and/or from the venue. Guest with other accommodations are encouraged to pre-plan a designated driver to and from Riverdale Manor. Cars are NOT allowed to be left in the Riverdale Manor parking lot overnight. In the event that you need transportation to and from the venue, Uber and Lyft are available in large quantities within the area.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
As much as we would love to include everyone, our goal is to keep the wedding as an intimate event with our close family and friends. If a plus one is granted, you'll be able to RSVP for them on our website when you type in your name on the RSVP tab.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Our dress code is cocktail & formal attire, as we want to see all of our family and friends dressed to impress! As an important reminder, please avoid casual clothing such as jeans and white colored dresses. Emphasis on the no jeans!!!
IS THE CEREMONY BEING HELD OUTSIDE?
Yes, our goal is to have our ceremony outside, so please dress for spring/early summer weather. In the event of rain and bad weather, the ceremony will be moved into the covered pavilion.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
Unless their names are visible when going to online RSVP, we ask that no additional children are brought to the wedding. This allows us to keep our numbers in check and allows parents the chance to have a night out without the kids! If you truly are unsure if your children are included, please do not hesitate to reach out and ask!
CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
