Being the stud that he is, Restin slid into namude Riyamol's Instagram DM's (direct messages) after receiving the friend invite from Riya and noticing the friends they had in common. A few months of DAILY FaceTime, messaging, emails, faxes and smoke signals ensued - in the the golden window that lies between dayshift and nightshift hours.

Infatuated by Riya's amazing personality (and good looks of course😉), Restin was intrigued he met someone more sarcastic and funnier than him and had to confirm the merchandise was as advertised! Restin embarked on a journey couple states over to Sacramento, California to meet Riya for the very first time.

Riya ventures out to the land of Bucees and Whataburger to see what Dallas-boy had been hyping up this entire time. Restin was on his "A" game with every detail and needless to say Riya never had so much fun on a trip quite like that in her life.

The magical proposal. The chemistry and connection being undeniable from day 1, Restin knew he had found the love of his life. With the support and blessings of both families and close friends, Restin pulled off an intimate surprise proposal (and photoshoot) of a lifetime at Zion National Park in Utah.

Restin and Riya held their official Indian Engagement ceremony in India surrounded by all loved ones who traveled from near and far to celebrate the couple!
