This hidden gem in the Sandhills is home to Pine Creek - a "lazy river" style creek that's great for tubing! Stay in Hidden Paradise for a short ~20 minute tubing trip or take the long way through the State Park for a ~2 hour journey.

Long Pine State Recreation Area is 153 acres of Pine Ridge land straddling Long Pine Creek. Ideal for tubing, camping, fishing, hiking and archery.

Ainsworth Municipal is west of Ainsworth on Hwy 20. It is a level track with a couple of tricks up its sleeve. It features a 9-hole public course, putting green, chipping green, driving range, bar and grill. Tee times not required.

The Bassett Country Club features a 9-hole public golf course, driving range, a practice putting green and a sand volleyball court. Tee times not required.

The Cowboy Recreational Trail runs 195 miles long, making it great for biking, horseback riding and walking. What makes this trail so unique? It follows an old abandoned Chicago & North Western rail route from Norfolk to Valentine. Be sure to check out the old railroad bridge running through Long Pine!
