The Chicago Athletic Association hotel is a three block walk East from the Monroe Blue Line stop. The Freehand Hotel is easily reached by taking the Blue Line to Clark/Lake, transferring to the Red Line Lake stop and then taking the Red Line one stop North to Grand. Taxis will also be readily available.

The CTA - and especially Chicago's subway/elevated train system "The L" - is generally safe, cheap, reliable and easy to use, not just to and from the airport but also throughout the city. The closest train stop to our wedding venue, The Hideout, is North/Clybourn off the Red Line or Damen off the Blue Line. Though neither is walkable to the venue, it's a five minute Uber or taxi ride from either stop.

The easiest way for out of town guests to get to The Hideout from either hotel is by asking the concierge to call a taxi for you or by hiring an Uber. Go ahead and download that app or your phone and save some taxi $$!
