in the cafeteria of our Alma Mater, Southern Methodist University, the day before classes started for our freshman year. Two young adults sitting in a booth for dinner with some other soon-to-be-friends. EJ invited the whole group to visit his room later that night, get to know one another, and eat popcorn of all things. From there, a friend group was formed and we started to get to know one another. As the semester went on, our friendship grew ever stronger. Rarely did a day go by without us grabbing meals, going on late night walks, or discussing our lives with one another. Our friends and family were keen on just how deep our relationship had become far before we knew. But on SMU's homecoming day of 2017, we both realized just how much we meant to one another. Our friendship and love only grew from there, and the rest is history!
