THE FIRST DATE

Our first date was at Brewskys on North 27th in Lincoln, NE. We had matched on a dating app and so this was the first time we had seen each other in person. I (Rhegan) had all of my friends all there for safety and support. As usual, I was running late but made time on my way to the date to message my friends, who were stationed at the bar at Brewskys, to make sure that Austin was just as cute in person as his pictures - he was. During our date the bar manager, who we both knew without knowing it, sent us over fireball shots to take to ease the nerves. After the meal I told Austin about my friends stalking us at the bar and asked if he wanted to join us to go out to the bars. He asked where we were going to go and I said " Das Haus" (the gay bar in downtown Lincoln). Austin responded with "I love that place" thinking I was talking about Bierhaus (the German bar in Haymarket Lincoln). This was an instant RED FLAG to me, but I decided to ignore it. It didn't take long for Austin to realize we weren't going where he thought, and after clarification he wanted to make it very known he had never been to Das Haus before. I really enjoyed how caring and go with the flow Austin was and Austin says he loved my high energy and wild spirit, so he asked for a second date and my phone number in the Brewsky's parking lot when dropping me off at my car. He proceeded to not text me for MULTIPLE days and I thought our date was just a little too wild and expected to never hear from him again. FINALLY he reached out to plan our second date, and we have been inseparable since.
