Is there a place to stay in the area?

We will be blocking off rooms at a Hampton Inn in Geneseo. This is about 10 minutes from our house and 15 min away from the reception area. More information will be on the travel tab at the end of July.

What should I wear?

This is a very non-traditional reception. Brian and I would like for this experience to be a party for all! Yes we are there to celebrate a wedding, and we will for sure! But, we want everyone to also be there to have a good time. There will be food, cake, drinking and dancing for all! Wear clothes that are most comfy for you! Be comfortable!

Open Bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar. I will be handing out wrist bands for the drinks to be put on our tab. All you will need to do is go to the bar, order your drink and make sure the bartender sees your wrist band. I will hand them out when everyone starts arriving and will close the "Open Bar" at around 8:00.

Is there music?

Most definitely! One of our favorite bands, Rebels Posse, will be playing that night. They will take the stage around 6:00 and will play till around 10:00. You can look them up on YouTube. They are a band that plays at the venue every year/multiple times a year. Great older rock and some country, nothing to crazy.

Parking.

There is parking on the premises, however, if you don't plan on staying through the night, you may want to park down the road next to the Wadsworth Grill. That is the overflow parking and will be easier to get out. There is a Cul-de-sac at the end of that road with lots of parking room.

Just a heads up for the parents of young ones....

This is a bar and grill setting.

Inside there are tables and a bar off to the side. Outside, where our tent/tables will be, is a Tiki bar, stage and a place to roam for some fresh air.

Please be aware that there will be other people there than just our party. Drinking to excess may happen and I can not control that. Does not happen often and has never been and issue. Everyone is there to have a good time and listen to music. This is not a club.... This is a local family setting. Everyone there is one big happy family, we are all there to do the same thing, relax and enjoy! Karen, the owner of the Wadsworth grill, as well as the employees, work very hard to make sure we are all felt welcome. The bathrooms do have some questionable pics for the little eyes, might want to escort them. lol!

The cake flavors.

There will be cupcakes that are three different flavors.

* Triple Chocolate with Salted Caramel Icing

* Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Icing

* Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

No nuts or raisins in the Carrot Cake.
