Our Wedding

"They often say you find the one when you least expect it, but it's safe to say I really did. When we matched, initially I wasn't sure if she was genuine, if only because she messaged me with a conversation prompt, being "Guess what my job is", I replied with a few guesses, only for her to reply to that one with just "Hi". As it goes, she turned out to be one of the most genuine people I've ever met. I asked her what made her take a chance on me; the only honest answer she could give was that "something told me to", and we've never looked back. Even from the earliest interactions was clear we clicked from the get-go and we both were onto something special."-John"It was one of those moments you never quite expect, the kind that feels like fate but arrives with the quiet simplicity of a gentle breeze. There was something about the way our paths crossed, as if everything in our lives had led us to that exact moment. Although we like to joke that we met at a bookstore or at work, the truth is, we actually found each other on a dating app. From the very first conversation, we clicked instantly. We decided to meet in person at a nearby park, where we took a stroll, enjoyed coffee, and talked for hours. The connection was undeniable from the moment we started talking, and we both knew there was something special between us."-Ria

 "The Beginning of Our Love Story"

"I'd been planning it for quite a while, when it came closer to Christmas and Ria knew I was hiding presents, her snooping and questioning were making it harder to keep a secret; she even came close to finding out on a couple of occasions. But I just about managed to hide it until the day, I woke her up first thing in the morning, asked her if she wanted an early Christmas present; she said she wanted to wait until we all open ours. So I had to railroad her into it by saying "Well that's too bad, because I want to give you an early Christmas present, so go and sit down. She unwrapped and opened a handbag, the ring fell out, I got down on one knee, proposed in Malayalam, mispronouncing, stuttering and my heart racing all throughout, I showed her the letters I sent to her parents two months prior and their responses, showing her just how long I'd been planning it for, and to my happiness, she said yes." - John"On Christmas morning, still wrapped in sleep, he whispered if I wanted an early gift. Half-asleep, I could hardly keep my eyes open. There was a softness in his eyes that made my heart race with a quiet anticipation, as if he were preparing to give me something more than just a gift. He knelt before me, speaking the words in my native language. In that moment, overcome with emotion, we said yes to our forever."-Ria

Meet the groom’s dad, a proud father, avid author, and passionate enthusiast of video games, football (especially Leeds United), and crafting the perfect cup of coffee. By profession, he’s an IT director and a tech genius, but at home, he’s the one who taught the groom how to master chess and inspired his love for running. His influence goes beyond hobbies—his music taste has also shaped the groom’s, passing down a love for great tunes. Above all, he’s a wonderful dad whose unwavering love and guidance have helped shape the groom into the man he is today.

Meet the bride's dad, the man who is always her pillar and strength. He’s the most enthusiastic, loving, and heartfelt person you could ever meet. A retired Deputy Technical Officer, he’s not only a wonderful father but also the most fun person . His support, love, and joy have been a constant throughout her life, and he's the proudest person to stand by her on this special day.

Meet the groom’s mum, a talented auditor with a heart as warm as her personality. Her love for horses and nature reflects her calm and nurturing spirit. She’s shaped the groom into the amazing person he is today, and her pride as a mother shines brightly. Fun to be around and always full of life. With her loving nature and joyful energy, she truly lights up every room she enters.

Meet the bride’s mother, her constant support and shining light. She taught her how to stand on her own and spread her wings, always guiding with love and wisdom. A proud mum and the best cook, her warmth and joy fill every room she’s in. She’s been the foundation of the bride’s strength, and today, she’s beaming with pride as her daughter takes this next step.

Meet Rob, the groom's awesome brother and right-hand man. When he's not working in cybersecurity, you’ll find him making content for his YouTube channel or indulging in his love for video games. Known for his quirky sense of humor, easy-going vibe, and fun-loving spirit, he’s always ready for a good time. Whether it's photobombing pictures or keeping things light-hearted, he's sure to keep everyone smiling throughout the day!

Meet Niki, the bride’s amazing cousin and sister at heart. A passionate teacher by profession, she’s as kind and caring as they come. When she’s not shaping young minds, you can find her rewatching Friends for the umpteenth time. With her sweet nature and fun-loving personality, she brings joy to everyone around her. We're so lucky to have her standing by the bride's side on this special day!





Nikitha Iwin

Meet Brad, the groom’s best friend and usher, who’s been by his side since they met in Year 7—20 years ago! A skilled tree surgeon, having earnt the nickname 'Bradagast' by his colleagues he’s a true outdoorsman at heart. When he’s not working with nature, he’s either playing video games or making music (feel free to check out his album!). Known for his outgoing, happy-go-lucky personality, he’s truly everyone’s favorite. The groom can count on one hand the number of times he’s ever lost his temper, proving just how calm and dependable he is. Always ready for adventure and good times, he's the perfect person to have by your side!


Bradley Simper

Having known one another since Year 4, Jack and the Groom bonded over a mutual love of video games (Anyone noticing a pattern here?), other typically nerdy stuff like Lord of The Rings and similar senses of humour. Jack is articulate, highly tech-literate, very easy-going, well-travelled and is always up for an outing, adventure or anything where memories are going to be made. Just don't ask him or the groom about the 'Video game blooper' videos they shot when they were teens. It's likely to elicit nothing but cringes from the both of them.

Meet James, the groom’s chief usher and longtime friend, who’s been there since they met in Year 4. A movie enthusiast with a talent for videography, he’s always ready to capture the best moments. Whether it’s a fun pub crawl, a spontaneous drive, or getting creative with his love for drawing, he knows how to make any situation enjoyable. With his quick wit and easy-going nature, he’s always the life of the party and a true friend you can count on!

James Wood

Meet Matt, the groom’s friend and usher, who’s been by his side since their early days. The groom first spotted flyers in Year 7 advertising a chess club that Matt ran, and that’s how their friendship began! From there, they bonded over video games, Doctor Who, and their shared adventures in Scouts. With his friendly nature and easy-going spirit, he’s been a constant companion and a great friend throughout the years.

The bride’s cousin brother and a true car enthusiast, he’s a gentle soul with a big heart. Not to mention, the Maid of Honor, Nikki's sweet little brother. Always ready with a smile and support, his presence adds a special warmth to every occasion. He loves travelling as much as he adores car's.  We are so glad to have him on our big day as our usher.

With a love for the outdoors, she’s always up for an adventure, whether it's running, playing sports, or enjoying nature. A dedicated and studious individual, she knows how to balance hard work with fun. Her energetic and positive vibe makes her the perfect addition to this special day!

Meet Anu, the bride's adorable friend from university and one of her lovely bridesmaids! Known for her lively spirit, she brings energy and excitement wherever she goes. A true fashionista with a passion for food, travel, and art, she’s always up for an adventure and loves exploring new places and creative expressions. With her vibrant personality, she’s sure to make the day even more special and memorable!

He even takes after his older cousin with his love for video games and football, of course the groom wishes he'd take after him a little further on the football front and support Leeds, but we can't have everything!
