FAQs

RSVPs

When must I RSVP by?

We're kindly asking that all our guests RSVP to all events in our wedding by the 1st December 2024. As we organising a destination wedding, we need our guestlist confirmed extra early so we can make our wedding celebrations as amazing as possible!

How do I RSVP?

Please fill in the RSVP form on our wedding website, including all relevant dietary requirements, so that we can make plans for you.

The Venue

What is your wedding venue like?

This romantic Quinta de Sant'Ana, bordering with the Tapada de Mafra, (formerly the Portuguese King’s hunting grounds), dates back to 1633. Now a renowned family-run wine estate, the venue is nestled in rolling vineyards between the breathtakingly beautiful Atlantic coastline and the vibrant capital of Lisbon. Find out more about our venue via the link below.

What is the address for your wedding venue?

Rua Direita 3, Gradil, 2665-113 Gradil, Mafra, Portugal. Only a 30 minute drive from Lisbon, our venue is accessible by hire car or taxi. Due to it's remote location, you cannot travel by bus or train.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

We will be arranging shuttle buses for the events to ensure everyone can get from A to B with ease. Taxis/Ubers are also available. If you want a bit more freedom over the week, there’s parking at the wedding venue and hotel, so hire cars work great too.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes! There is parking available for those who are staying onsite. However, it is limited, so we kindly ask that you car share where possible.

The big day

What time do I need to be ready for on the wedding day?

We ask all our guests to be at the venue by 15:00 on our wedding day. There will be welcome drinks whilst you wait for the Bride & Groom to arrive. The ceremony will begin at 16:00.

What is the dress code?

We understand planning outfits, especially when abroad, is tricky. That's why we have a full dress code section on our website, giving you guidance for each occasion!

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, overlooking the vineyard. Our drinks reception will take place in the courtyard outside the main house. The party and meal will be indoors.

+ 1s and Children

Can I bring my little ones?

As much as we adore every one of your children, we will not be accommodating for children at our wedding, beyond our immediate family. We'd invite all mums & dad's to enjoy some much deserved down time. Thanks so much for your understanding.

Can I bring a +1?

Our wedding is small and intimate. We only wish to have our nearest and dearest among us whilst we read our vows and say "I do". Unless specifically mentioned and included on the invitation, we are not allowing any plus ones.
