A favorite of the wedding couple, Norris Hot Springs is about a 45 min drive west from Downtown Bozeman. The scenic drive takes you winding through hills along the Gallatin River. Once you arrive, grab a beer and a snack and relax your muscles in the "water of the gods"!

Want to kick back and enjoy some of Bozeman's local beer? While there are plenty of great options, we recommend you visit our personal favorite, Mountains Walking Brewery. This nationally recognized brewery has fantastic beer and delicious food. Their oat whip IPAs and dessert beers are particularly impressive!

Not able to make the ride out to Norris Hot Springs? Bozeman Hot Springs is an excellent alternative! Located just outside Bozeman in Four Corners, entry comes with access to indoor swimming pools, sauna, steam room, cold pool, and three large outdoor springs. At night, enjoy live music performances and the beautiful ambient experience created by their outdoor lighting. FYI, alcohol is not served on premises and the Hot Springs is closed on Saturdays due to religious observations by the owner.

Hyalite Reservoir

Want to enjoy some of Bozeman's scenery? Take a drive up Hyalite Canyon and enjoy the reservoir! Hyalite Reservoir supplies Bozeman with a majority of its drinking water, but it is also a major source of entertainment for many locals. Enjoy hiking trails, rent kayaks/paddle boards, or just soak in the views on a drive. Just be careful, that mountain runoff is cold in June :)


*Any rentals must be done through companies in Bozeman and brought up with you. There is no rental business once you drive up the canyon.

Bozeman has a bunch of incredible breakfast/brunch locations! One of our favorites is Storm Castle Cafe. Try their Vaquero (breakfast burrito), Grandma's Breakfast Enchiladas, Dustin's Smothered and Covered Omelet, or their famous Monte Christo (as seen on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives). Be sure to get there early as there is almost always a wait! If you need to kill time while waiting, next door offers incredible $1 homemade donuts (see Granny's Donuts) that make for an incredible breakfast appetizer.

If you have some time and access to a vehicle, Chico Hot Springs makes for an awesome evening activity. Located about an hour east and south of Bozeman, you would take a beautiful drive through the Livingston Pass and Paradise Valley to reach Chico Hot Springs. Enjoy a soak in their famous hot springs with access to a walk up bar. Make sure to make a stop at the Old Saloon located a few miles away if you decide to venture this way!

MAP might be the most popular brewery located in Bozeman. With excellent beers (Midas Crush, Strange Cattle, and MAP Party Lager to name a few), delicious food, and a great view of the Bridgers, this brewery has it all. If you don't make it here, no worries, you can find their pours all over town!

Drinking Horse Mountain Trailhead

Looking for some beautiful scenery to walk off food and drinks? Drinking Horse is a great option and only 10 minutes from Bozeman's downtown. This 2.4 mile hike takes about an hour to complete. The views at the top are worth the work!
