Our first date was on June 27, 1983. We met through mutual high school friends at a local carnival. Rich took Eileen on the Zipper and had to endure her fear of rollercoasters and heights on the same ride. After that night, we spent nearly ever day of the summer together until Rich returned to Abbotsford, WI for his senior year of high school
