The drive from the Florence Airport to the venue is an hour long. From downtown Florence, it will take approximately 45 minutes to get to the venue in the countryside.

No, with a Canadian passport, you are not required to obtain a visa to enter Italy.

Yes! The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is expected to launch this year. It is a travel authorization program for those who don’t require a visa to enter the country. The ETIAS will come into effect 6 months after the Entry-Exit System (EES) is in place. We will send a notification to all guests when it comes into effect and remind you to apply. The ETIAS is valid for up to 3 years.

Although the wedding is in the shoulder season, there is a possibility that the property might book out. The Tenuta di Rota estate have a few other available accommodations which includes apartments and villas. We also have a room block available at Torrebianca Tuscany, which is a 10 minute drive to the venue. The room block will remain available until March 31, 2025. Yes, if you are planning on renting a vehicle, please make sure to obtain an international license. The rental company may turn you away if you do not have one with you upon pick-up. Due to limitations with the space of our venue, only the names listed on the invitation are welcome to the wedding.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the ceremony and reception. If you require childcare services for the day, please reach out to Andrea.

Since you all will be travelling overseas for our wedding, we understand the financial commitment you are dedicating to come celebrate with us and want to emphasize that your presence is a gift in itself! But if you wish to honour us with a gift, please contribute to our wishing well, which will go towards the down-payment to our future home.

The location of the celebration on the property is weather dependent. If the weather is warm with no rain forecast, the wedding will be outdoors. If its too cold or if there is rain in the forecast, the wedding will be held inside the villa.

We would like to kindly ask all guests to refrain from using their phones during the ceremony. However, during the rest of the celebration, we encourage everyone to take photos and videos!

Yes, there is plenty of free parking on-site at the front of the villa.

Wine and cocktails will be served during cocktail hour and throughout the reception. The open bar will begin at 8:00pm and will serve our signature cocktails.
