Many mutual friends, a million common interests, and living less than a mile from one another we found ourselves meeting for the very first time for a walk around the Deering neighborhood in July of 2022. Immediately we were like two flames that shined brighter once together and have been inseparable since the start. Richard planned a surprise trip just months into dating and I as a type A planner somehow relinquished control and went with it- truly having the time of my life. While away on our first trip to New Mexico and Colorado we decided to move in together, blending our families to become another step closer as one. Learning how to become our own family has been the most joyous challenge weve faced together. Months later Richard proposed on the Eastern Prom stumbling through words trying to find the breath to ask me to marry him and to keep being the best versions of ourselves every day for our family. These past few years learning, loving, and growing together has been the most beautiful story that I couldve never predicted. We look forward to celebrating our love with those we love the most.
