<p>We met umpiring Little League in 2019 and, for years, kept up with each other from afar on social media. In November 2022, Ariana posted that she had openings for haircuts — Richard needed one — and after that haircut we never stopped hanging out. What started as a long friendship turned into a relationship on March 29, 2023. We’ve weathered two Cal-Fire seasons, school, challenges, and many blessings together, and now we’re ready to begin our life as one. We’re so excited for the future, the family we’ll build, and everything ahead.</p>
