Haris knew Rie was the one a few years into their relationship. Before the couple hit their 5-year anniversary, Haris knew he had to tie the knot. Rie is a very family orientated individual & he knew it would be most special to propose with her family around to celebrate this amazing moment together.

Haris decided to surprise her on Christmas Night 2022 with the proposal following her nursing shift with her entire family, scrubs & all (which she told him that he better not propose to her in) because if Haris loves anything more than Rie, it's annoying her.
