Pithi/Haldi Ceremony involves the bride and groom having a paste of turmeric, sandalwood powder, and rose water applied to their bodies before their wedding. The Haldi ceremony is renowned for cleansing and purifying couples’ bodies before entering into holy matrimony, symbolizing the happy start of their marriage.

(Optional) Sunday, November 9th. We will be heading to Tequila, Mexico for some tequila tastings and tacos!! Then finish up the party at Cantaritos El Guerro #1 for some music, dancing and cantaritos!!

If flying with Volaris, download their app for a better experience. Make sure to enter your full name as it is written on your passport. We recommend checking in early and using the kiosk to print any luggage tags. (Using the app will save you $50 that they charge to print boarding passes)

Regarding currency; most places do not accept the US dollar, we recommend to use your card for food and other purchases. Our banks use a better conversion rate than they provide. Use Mexican Pesos to buy little items and to tip. We use the ATM in our hotel to withdraw Mexican Pesos at a better rate than most currency exchanges.
