Andrew and Riley first met at the start of middle school in Mrs. Moryouseff's sixth grade math class. They had lunch together every day, and on the way back to the classroom Andrew made it his mission to tease Riley about brushing her teeth in the school bathroom—thanks Invisalign!

In seventh grade, they took the leap into young love and became each other's first boyfriend and girlfriend. Spoiler alert: it lasted a thrilling three months. After receiving a birthday gift from Andrew, Riley realized his constant texting wasn't as romantic as it seemed! She ended things with no idea what her future had in store.

They stayed close friends throughout middle school and high school. By senior year, they started hanging out outside of their usual friend group and even went to prom together- because what else would "friends" do?

Then came the summer after graduation, when Andrew was invited to join Riley’s family for a week at the beach over the Fourth of July. At this point, Riley finally faced the truth: she liked Andrew—and had for at least a year. I mean, who would invite just a friend to spend an entire week at the beach with her family?

On August 22, 2020, after a year of playing it cool, they finally decided to make it official. Riley then left for Meredith College, where she quickly realized that dorm life was overrated and decided to return to Sanford, conveniently where Andrew was also staying his first year of college.

For the last four years, they have been inseparable. From hanging out every night at their parents' houses during the pandemic, to navigating college life together, to diving into the 9-5 grind, they have been by each other's side every step of the way- and now they're excited to be planning a wedding together.

They have experienced almost every stage of life together thus far and cannot wait for the many more to come. September 27, 2025 cannot come soon enough!
