What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at 4:30 to make sure everyone is on time and seated so we can get the party started as scheduled!
Are children invited?
We respectfully request no little ones on this night. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!
Is there a dress code?
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal/cocktail dress code for the evening. In regards to color, we are hoping for spring inspiration!
We will be eating outside, and we will move inside for the dance floor, so feel free to bring comfortable dancing shoes!
View our "Dress Code" page for more information as well as inspiration!
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you receive a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.
What should I do if I cannot make it?
If you cannot make it to the wedding, you will be missed! Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. You can click the "RSVP" tab on this website, or let us know and we can do it for you!
Can I take pictures?
We are attempting to have an "unplugged" ceremony. We are asking that our guests have their phone put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want and we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible! We will also have a photo booth where guests can take unlimited photos and take them home.
Where should I stay for the wedding weekend?
We very much appreciate those who will be traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "Travel" tab to see the hotel that is offering a discounted rate when you call and book under "Ricks Wedding!"
Will the events be indoor or outdoor?
The ceremony and reception will all be at The Wright House. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors on turf grass. The reception will be inside after dinner, with a dance floor and tables to sit at!
There will be heaters outdoors if needed- feel free to bring a jacket or whatever you need, there will be places to set your belongings. We want everyone to be comfortable!

Our menu has not been finalized yet, but we can guarantee that there will be vegetarian options. Please reach out if there are any allergies/dietary restrictions we need to be aware of.
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The venue is wheelchair accessible. The ceremony and dinner will be on turf, and the reception will take place inside! Everything will be wheelchair accessible.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media accounts, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #rickswedding so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Flattering photos only please, I am sure you all understand.
What is the parking situation?
The venue has a large parking lot with free parking. There are two venues next to each other, so there will be a director of traffic to ensure you are at the correct area! There will also be signs in case of any confusion.
