Josie and Riley are cousins on their mothers' side. They grew up joined at the hip. Every thanksgiving they would sit next to each other and build their Christmas list together. Generally it was the same list. So every year they got the same thing but one in pink and one in purple. While they have grown up the tradition never changed of talking over the list and comparing. Josie has been by Riley's side from the beginning and was always there to cheer her on. Riley could not think of a better person to be at her side in this next chapter in her life.

Ava and Riley were suite mates their first year of college. It was clear very early on that the two were polar opposites. As the year went on the two became closer and create a bound only sibling could have. Ava got a big sister and Riley got a little sister and like all sibling they were not always happy about it. Riley and Ava call almost every day now and Riley could not image a life without her.

Meg and Riley met when they joined a sorority together freshman year. At first the two were not sure of each other but Meg took a risk with the girl who needed a gym partner at 7 am every morning. The early morning gym sessions were a little awkward at first but then workouts turned into late night giggle sessions and a lasting friendship.

Riley and Bre met during basic training in 2020. While they were not in the same platoon they were placed in quarantine together and grew a bound that only people who regretted every life decision could have. The two spent nights talking of home, giggling and even shedding a few tears. The two went months without speaking but every time they do it turns into hours long calls catching up as if time had not passed. Riley could not have gotten through training without her.

Katie is Riley's acquired sister. She married, Jakob her brother, and official joined the family that she had already grow into. Riley looks up to Katie literally and metaphorically. Katie is always ready to talk with Riley and give advice when needed. Riley always dreamed that she had a older sister to ask questions and now she does. She knows that whatever life throws she can talk to Katie to be there for her and her wedding day is no different.

Kiyoshi is one of the many friends that Dimitri made in the military. They developed a bond by spending most of their time together and many nights in the gym together. Together with the power of insanity and echelon, they braved many challenges throughout their service.

Andrew (Drew) is another friend Dimitri made while serving in the Army. They spent large quantities of time together, whether forced in the deserts of California or in the barracks of El Paso. They developed a bond by being each other's sanity during the plethora of times when nothing made sense.

While serving, Cassandra was one of the most amazing leaders and friends Dimitri had. They spent most of their time together while serving in a family medicine clinic providing care to many with chest pains, and/or the sniffles. Together, they got through countless hours of paperwork and encouraged one another to keep going another day.

This one is, in fact, the silliest of all geese. Dimitri spent countless hours torturing him by playing SpongeBob to wake him up for the gym. Santos is one of Dimitri's greatest friends; together, their venting sessions helped them brave the rigorous demands leadership gave.

Tyler is one of Dimitri's absolute favorite high school buddies—so much so that Dimitri and their crew would frequently crash at Tyler's house uninvited, all in the pursuit of chocolate milk!

Anthony is another of Dimitri's high school acquaintances. They frequently spent extended periods together, attending classes and listening to playful, nonsensical songs. Additionally, they devised schemes involving chocolate milk.
