Great question! Because Riley and Josiah will be living in Japan after their wedding, every gift they receive would have to be shipped internationally either by the sender or by the couple after the fact. To avoid the extra costs and labor associated with this, Jo and Riley have instead added their desired items to the registry as cash funds, so that family and friends can "buy them" and then the couple can order the items from their Japanese Amazon account/buy them from other Japan-based companies when they return to Japan after their wedding. Additionally, this allows guests with different budgets to contribute their preferred amounts towards whichever item they choose, or to buy an item in full.

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at The Ruins at Kellum Valley, a 19th century historic stone ruins in Cleveland, GA. The venue is entirely outdoor, but is fairly shaded from the sun and has a tent onsite in the case of inclement weather. There will be ample parking available, as well as attendants with golf carts to assist anyone who needs help traveling across the property.

For our "dressy casual" or "garden party" attire, we invite the women to wear sundresses/rompers/jumpsuits/etc. and shoes that are comfortable for summer weather, and the men to wear khakis/slacks with a short or long sleeved button down shirt.
