September 13, 2025 • Colorado Springs, CO

What is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 2nd so we are able to submit the final headcount to catering

What if I have food allergies?

Please provide details in your RSVP, text us, or email your request to our wedding planner at erika@hillsidecolorado.com. Please include your name and allergy when reaching out to Erika.

What should I wear?

Garden semi-formal: cocktail dresses, just below knee to ankle, jumpsuits, dressy shirts and slacks, shirts and ties, sport coat if you’re into that etc. Please no jeans. We want YOU to be our color! Consider comfortable shoes for walking on gravel, grass, and sidewalks. We are celebrating at an outdoor venue in Colorado - as the wedding approaches keep an eye on the weather and pack layers just in case as the weather can be unpredictable!

What are the wedding colors?

Sage, Terracotta, and Taupe

What is the best way to get to the venue?

You can access the venue easily by vehicle, however we highly recommend a rideshare (Uber, Lyft) if you plan to drink. There is plenty of parking at the venue in the gravel lot or on the adjacent street, but we want you to be safe! Uber/Lyft codes will be available for after the wedding and you can leave your car at the venue - it will open at 9am for pick up of cars

What is the venue like?

The venue is a 4.5 acre garden set on a Hillside. There are multiple different areas you can walk around and explore. Terrain includes sidewalk, gravel, and grass. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors in the garden at the base of the hillside. While the reception will take place in a covered pavilion, it is open air. This pavilion is directly next to the garden where the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place.

Can our kids attend?

Due to the nature of our venue, any children under 16 have to be supervised the entire time, so for that reason we will not be inviting kids to our celebration. Thank you for your understanding and we hope you get to enjoy a night out!

Will there be an open bar?

The bar will be hosted to a certain dollar amount - hopefully that gets us pretty far into the night but just be prepared if it does switch over! Shots will be allowed but not covered by the hosted bar - so if you buy a round, it is on you ;)

Can I bring my own alcohol or marijuana?

Our venue does not allow outside alcohol or recreational drugs, please leave these at home :)

What if I still have questions?

Feel free to text us or you can reach out to our wedding planner and she will be happy to help you! Erika Weeks 720-329-7692 (text okay) Erika@hillsidecolorado.com

I am coming from out of state, what should I know about the altitude?

Colorado Springs sits high above sea level at an altitude of 6.033 feet!!

It usually takes a few days for your body to adjust to altitude changes. It may be helpful to arrive a day or two prior to the wedding if this is feasible for you. If not, there are still plenty of things you can do to assure you are comfortable:

- Stay hydrated: It is recommended you add an extra 32oz of water to your daily intake for a few days before arriving in Colorado.

- Stay rested: Take a nap when you can. Avoid sleep deprivation.

- Be aware of how much alcohol you consume as the altitude can decrease alcohol tolerance, make you feel drunk faster (but sometimes you don't realize until you have consumed too much too fast!)

- Eat carbs. Carbs help our body absorb oxygen better so be sure to eat up!

- Wear Sunscreen! The air is thinner here making your skin more susceptible to the sun's harmful rays. Apply sunscreen frequently and liberally.

People who travel to Colorado Springs from lower elevations may experience altitude sickness. Symptoms of Altitude Sickness:

Headache

Nausea

Vomiting

Fatigue

Dizziness

Shortness of Breath
