Our Wedding

Our story started in high school health class—me as a freshman and Riley as a sophomore. Right away, I noticed how sweet and caring he was. Even back then, being around him just felt easy and comforting. By May of 2020, we realized we were truly in love, though honestly, it had been building long before that. Since then, we’ve created a life full of love, laughter, and so many memories. We’ve hit a lot of milestones together—graduating high school, Riley finishing his degree at NIACC and becoming a diesel mechanic, and me earning my bachelor’s degree in human services from UNI. We’ve grown a lot, both individually and as a couple, and we’ve always supported each other along the way. As we look ahead, our dreams are pretty simple. We want to build a family, make memories, and create a life full of love somewhere in Iowa. Someday, we hope to live on an acreage where our kids can run around and grow up surrounded by the same love and warmth that brought us together. We also wanted to share a little update about our wedding date. As many of you know, we originally planned for October 3rd, 2026. These last few months have really shown us how short life is and how important it is to enjoy every moment. So we decided we didn’t want to wait. Just to clear the air—no, we are not pregnant, nobody is sick, and nothing is wrong. We’re simply very much in love and excited to start this next chapter together. We appreciate everyone’s concern and opinions, but we promise everything is perfectly fine. This is just the beginning of our story, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings 🤍
