Our Wedding

Riley and Joseph first met during a memorable Greek life event at Kennesaw State University. Joseph's fraternity had organized a special evening for Riley's sorority, complete with a home-cooked dinner, roses, and a serenade of their traditional love song. It was a night filled with laughter, music and a spark between the two. Joseph handed Riley her rose, a simple gesture that quietly marked the beginning of something extraordinary. Over the years, their relationship grew stronger, rooted in friendship, love, and countless shared experiences. From family vacations and holiday traditions to late-night study sessions and campus adventures, they built a life side by side. They proudly graduated college together, cheering each other on every step of the way, and soon after began their journeys into their respective careers. Together they've built both a life and steadfast faith in Jesus Christ. With joy and gratitude, they now enter marriage as a covenant with the Lord and a reflection of His Love. Now, seven years later, Riley and Joseph are preparing to say "I do." What started as a chance meeting at a college event has grown into a lasting love story, one they are overjoyed to continue writing together. We're so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you!

Camdyn and Riley met online while looking for potential roommates for their freshman year at Kennesaw State. They quickly became best friends and ended up rushing Phi Mu together! College wouldn't have been the same without each other and our friendship continues to grow deeper as we are encouraging each other to live according to our faith.

Annie is Riley's younger sister and built-in bestie for life! Riley had always prayed for a little sister and she finally got one when she was 12 years old. Riley and Annie have a special sister bond that keeps them close even though they live far apart!

Kayla and Riley met in college through their sorority! Kayla ended up being Riley's "little sister" and while the friendship may have started off with Riley mentoring Kayla, it has evened out over the years. Now we enjoy going to church and doing bible study together weekly and supporting one another through the wedding season!

Kayla Burnat

Lauren and Riley met in their first grade class and were inseparable until they had to move away for college. They even shared a Sweet 16 birthday party! This friendship has been so incredibly special to continue on into adulthood and grow with each other as we get married and start our own families one day!

Savannah and Riley met in second grade when Riley's mom was Savannah's teacher! They were like two peas in a pod and always had the best sleepovers. After college, Savannah and Riley moved in together and wanted to make it a priority to take some bestie trips to places they have always wanted to go. In the past couple years they have taken a trip to New York and Europe, exploring London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Nice!

Cally is Riley's sister-in-law and has been the most wonderful addition to the Ransom family! Cally and Riley immediately became friends and could not be more thrilled to each have another sister!

Matthew and Joseph met in middle school and quickly created a close friendship. There are countless memories from high school soccer practices to late nights with the boys at his house. Fun Fact, Joseph recently won the best dressed award at the annual Shehane Christmas party!

Jackson and Joseph met during greek life at Kennesaw State University freshman year of college. Not knowing anyone at the university, Jackson quickly became one of my close friends during that semester. From strangers to roommates of four years we have created a friendship that will last a lifetime.

Jack was the first person Joseph met and created a friendship with at Kennesaw through Greek life. Our favorite memories together are travelling to the beach, lake and mountains during college. The years being roommates have been some of the best times in Joseph's life, forever making Jack a life long friend.

Alex and Joseph met in 6th grade through a group of our friends. Our friendship quickly grew and led to us spending the whole summer together going on each others family vacations. Even though we went to different schools after high school graduation, we always kept in touch and made sure to see each other. Alex has and always been one of the closet friends I've ever had.

Aidan is Joseph's future brother-in-law. He quickly became the little brother I never had. From having to share pull out couches and rooms together, we created a tight knit bond over the years. I am forever thankful for his joyful and caring personality.

Leland is Joseph's future brother-in-law. He has always been welcoming to me and helped me experience so many new things. I am thankful for the memories we have created together and excited to have another brother!

Polished and stylish, but not overly dressy or casual. Please no jeans or t-shirts!Ladies, feel free to wear maxi, midi, or knee length dresses. Jumpsuits or tailored pants/trousers with a blouse would be perfect too.Gentlemen, chinos or dress pants with a button down or collared shirt would be best. Add a blazer or sport coat to elevate your look!Spring colors and patterns are encouraged. The bridal party will be wearing light pink and sage green.
