It’s New Year’s Eve, baby! Bring out the glitz, the glam, the sequins and the sparkles! We want our guests to feel their best, dressed to the nines, dancing the night away as if it were a bygone era. So dust off that tux, or your favorite suit or smoking jacket if you prefer, and ladies we want to see skirts that swirl while you spin, floor length encouraged, but below the knee or a teacup is always welcome. The vibe is old Hollywood meets Gatsby glam, a mix of black tie and formal. Let’s ring in this new year in fashion.

Yes! We will be holding rooms at the Hampton Inn in downtown Salem, within walking distance to all the wonderful shops, restaurants, history and more that Salem has to offer, as well as just a short beautiful walk or drive down Chestnut Street to the wedding venue. (But don’t worry, we’ll have coach bus transportation!) You can also book directly at Hawthorne Hotel where the Welcome Soirée will be. Check the Accommodation page for more information.

Our gorgeous historic hall has limitations when it comes to space for our big day (and we’re already pushing capacity!), so unfortunately we can only accommodate the name of the guest(s) formally invited on your invitation. We are so lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing friends and loved ones, and because of this we cannot make exceptions. We truly appreciate your understanding.

As much as we love your little ones, this New Year’s Eve soirée will be an adults-only event in order to keep the ceremony atmosphere intimate, and the party celebration continuing until that clock strikes midnight. Enjoy a well-deserved date night as you dance the night away, toasting to love, life and all that’s to come in the years ahead. Cheers to the New Year!
