Chris and Riley starting dating in 2020 after being set up on a blind date by Chris's brother Connor and his girlfriend Amanda. Their first date was at Deer Park Tavern where they drank rum and Coke's until the bar closed. Once the pandemic hit Chris and Riley spent a lot of time together watching movies and baking.

Chris and Riley's shared love of Scooby Doo inspired their first couples costume as Shaggy and Velma.

Chris and Riley decided to start the next chapter and move in together. After a few months of searching, they purchased their first home in Newark Delaware.

Chris and Riley shared their first trip to Disney together. They enjoyed drinking around the world, eating mickey pretzels, and watching the Halloween parade. They can't wait to go back for their honeymoon.

Chris and Riley adopted Daphne in the beginning of 2023. Riley fell in love with Daphne's photos when looking at adoptable dogs at the SPCA. The couple thought that that a dog with a Scooby Doo inspired name and the cutest ears had to come home with them.

Chris proposed to Riley in the living room of their house with Daphne right by their side barking away. They celebrated with a dinner at the Melting Pot.
