Ash V (aka "But Girl") has been by Rio’s side since high school, where their friendship blossomed over a shared love of good times and inside jokes. A huge animal lover, Ash will instantly warm up if you ask her about her two adorable dogs (seriously, they’re perfect) or whales—her not-so-secret obsession. Over the years, Ash and Rio have grown together, from high school chaos to college adventures, and she’s not just Rio’s best friend—she’s family.

Levi, the groom’s cousin and a close friend of the bride, has been an important part of their journey together. From epic hockey games and UFC matchups to countless hours of video games, Levi and the groom have shared more than just a family bond—they’ve shared a lifetime of laughs, adventures, and memories. Outside of those moments, Levi is a passionate adventurer, always seeking out new hiking trails, outdoor escapes, and quality time with family and friends. As the best man, Levi is honored to stand by the groom on this incredible day, celebrating a love that’s as strong as their friendship.

Pierre and Rio hit it off instantly when they met at Humber during Rio’s first-ever night on res. Pierre made a great first impression when he showed up to the floor meeting drunk... Alcohol would undoubtedly play a factor in their friendship, as whenever one wanted to party, the other would follow without any hesitation. Even though they now live on opposite ends of the country, both continue to be there for each other, no matter what the situation is.

Beau met Jaime 28 years ago when their parents brought him home from the human society—sorry, hospital. As his older sister, she dominated in after-dinner WWE and mini-sticks until Beau turned 10 and his athletic abilities overtook hers, which led them to a less competitive activity: high school musical karaoke. Although the two have lived on different continents for the last decade, they’ve remained pen pals and enjoy their annual catch-up in their parents’ garage playing pinball.

George and Rio first crossed paths back in 2016 at Humber College Residence, T4. From the moment they met, their bond was solidified over countless nights of laughter, wild parties and I'm sure unforgettable memories, some of which neither likely remember. After graduating, their friendship didn’t stop. They stayed in touch sharing updates on life, love and everything in between. In 2023, George and Rio became roommates while the groom got his shit together 😉. Through the challenges and growth that came with this new chapter, their friendship only grew stronger. George is honoured to celebrate the love between Rio and Beau.

Revlyn is Rio’s younger sister (emphasis on younger). She is currently studying criminology at the University of Ottawa and is an avid rugby player. Even though Revlyn quite literally had to blackmail Rio into letting her be a bridesmaid, it is abundantly obvious to anyone who knows them that, over the last 5 years, their relationship has truly grown much tighter. But in reality, the relationship that has really grown over the years is the connection between Revlyn and Beau. Whether it’s teaming up on Rio or competing at everything, they have truly grown so close.

Kasey – Just a chill guy who likes to spend time with his family and friends. I’ve been best friends with Beau in this life, and I believe in past lives as well. The first time we met, it felt like we had known each other forever. We enjoy a cold beer together and chat about work, vehicles, toys, politics, and whatever else we possibly can. We share a bond and brotherhood with all of our boys. Let’s get this party started!

Rio and Kat’s friendship started in high school, where they navigated the awkward teenage years together—sharing more than they would care to admit. They’ve always unwaveringly supported each other through every milestone, from first loves to big life changes. Kat has always been Rio’s safe space—the person she can turn to for advice, a good slip-sesh, or a much-needed nap on her couch. No matter what life throws their way, they’ve cheered each other on and proven that some friendships truly stand the test of time.

Born in Waterloo, formerly living and studying in London, and now living in Paris, Nic is a real estate agent who is in the process of becoming a firefighter. Nic enjoys history, music, and spending quality time with the ones he loves. Beau and Nic met under unusual circumstances when they were both forced on a double date. Much to everyone’s surprise, Nic and Beau hit it off better than the girls did. The rest, as they say, is history. Spending almost every weekend together since February 2024, Beau and Nic have bonded over a shared love for music, sports, and beer. At the wedding, you can find Nic on the dance floor busting a move or at the bar rehydrating.

Sam has never been one to stay in one place for too long. Whether it’s a new city, a new adventure, or just the thrill of change, she’s always on the move. From hopping between different "hometowns" to living across the country, she’s made a habit of packing up and starting fresh. But no matter where she goes, she always finds a way to stay in touch with her friends—whether it’s through late-night texts, spontaneous catch-ups, or visits whenever she’s back in town. No matter how far she roams, our friendship always finds a way to keep up.

Abby and Beau have been close from a young age. So close, one might even say they’re related—possibly cousins. From biking through campgrounds to sleepovers at Grandma’s, and most recently blackouts at the local watering hole, they’ve spent many of their favorite childhood memories together. Here’s to their first fun responsible adult event together (just kidding, we still act like we’re 5)
