Information about our wedding day is provided below. If you have other questions or need accommodations, please reach out to us at robandmariah2024@gmail.com.
Catholic Ceremony
Our ceremony will be celebrated as a Catholic Mass that will last one hour. Catholics and non-Catholics are all welcome and encouraged to participate! We just ask that you refrain from receiving communion if you are not Catholic. During communion, feel free to approach the altar with the rest of the guests and cross your arms over your chest. This will indicate to the priest that you would like to receive a blessing rather than communion.
Attire
The dress code is elevated cocktail attire. Men are encouraged to wear suits and women are welcome to wear short or long dresses, as well as dressy jumpsuits.
Weather
Our ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. The cocktail hour will be held outside, weather permitting. October is one of Austin's more pleasant months, but we recommend you bring a sweater or light jacket because the weather in Texas is often unpredictable.
Children
We ask that only children 10 years or older be present for the ceremony and reception. If your child is invited, you will be able to confirm their attendance when you submit your RSVP. If you will be traveling with children and need assistance securing childcare, please reach out as we will be happy to help. We appreciate your consideration and understanding.
Shuttle
We will be providing two large shuttles from the Renaissance Austin to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and from the reception back to the hotel. Please indicate on your RSVP if you plan to make use of the shuttles so we can ensure there is enough space.
Parking
There is parking available at the church and the reception venue, but overnight parking is prohibited. We encourage guests staying near the Renaissance to use the provided shuttles and other guests to use a rideshare service on the day of the wedding.
Accessibility
The church has wheelchair ramps at the front and side entrances.
For the reception, guests who arrive via rideshare can be dropped off at the front doors of the venue. Guests who take the shuttle will be dropped off outside the main entrance to Westwood Country Club, roughly 1,000 feet from the main doors. There are a limited number of guest parking spots within the property and additional parking is available on the street. A golf cart will be available to transport guests who need assistance.
