Indianapolis International Airport is approximately: 1hr 40min (98mi) from the lake area. Chicago O'Hare International Airport is approximately: 2hr 17min (133mi) from the lake area. Midway International Airport is approximately: 2hr 5min (116mi) from the lake area.

There is parking at the wedding & reception venue. Small shuttles will be provided from the TCC venue to the Light House Lodge, resorts located on North West Shafer Drive, and to Lakeshore Village.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be down by the water on the golf course. Golf carts will be offered for anyone in need of assistance to | from the ceremony. There are several ramps inside and out of the country club, and one set of 3-5 stairs between clubhouse levels. The lakeside deck is accessible by ramp. If additional assistance is needed, please let Rob &/or Stevi know so we can best accommodate for you while celebrating our day.

THE NIGHT BEFORE | Lake Casual: Sun or maxi dresses, flowy linen, dress shorts, we love a good patterned top/polo, light jacket or hoodie. WEDDING EVENTS | Black Tie Optional: Long or midi dresses; dressy pantsuits or jumpers. Tuxes or suits, dress pants; no jeans please. High heels or sandals with chunky-heel for the grass. (weather permitting) BRUNCH | Athleisure: Comfies, leggings, golf polo, jeans & a sweater, shorts & t-shirts, sun glasses, beach hats, anything goes here..

Whilst we love your little ones, we kindly request only children of immediate relation attend the ceremony & reception. You are welcome to bring children along for your weekend travels, as there are plenty of family friendly activities to enjoy around the Lake Shafer area!

In Monticello there is a Kroger and Walmart for essentials. The closest Target, Specialty Grocery, or shopping mall are located in Lafayette/West Lafayette, IN approx. 45 min South of Monticello.

The average June temperatures in IN range from a high of 82 degrees, to a low of 60 degrees. All activities surround a lake, so it is encouraged to bring lake attire, bug spray, sunscreen, water safety equipment, beach towels, etc. Also look into the accommodations your resort offers, as they may offer a pool, firepit/firewood, fishing equipment, and outdoor gear.
