Our story all began when we met on Hinge at the end of December 2022. We would message back and forth here and there, but where it all started is when Rob called Alyssa (yes, called! Unheard of!) and she knew this guy was serious. Our first phone call was over 2 hours long where we talked about everything and I mean everything. Then, on Friday, January 13, 2023 (yes Friday the 13th!) we met in person at Funks in Leola, PA for dinner. We were there for 3-4 hours just talking where we closed the place out. When Alyssa got home, Rob texted her asking to hangout again and she was thrilled. Our next date was just 2 days later at church! From here, both knew this was someone special that we had just met. We both told our family and friends that this was the person we wanted to marry. We were inseparable ever since and constantly finding a reason to hangout and see each other. Rob even drug Alyssa along to things such a swap meets just so they could spend time together and Alyssa went along with a big smile on her face.Together, we love to travel to new places, go on ice cream dates (Rob without fail will get vanilla), go camping, go to the beach, go hiking, sing in the car together (or more or less Alyssa singing to Rob), have movie nights and go to church together to worship Jesus. We have traveled to the Poconos, Delaware, Colorado, Virginia, Cancun and Disney World together and plan to do much more!On January 20, 2025 we found out unexpected, but exciting news that we were expecting a baby! We both knew we always wanted children together (3 to be exact), but was not planning on it so soon, but God had other plans. Alyssa suffering from PCOS and Hashimotos always thought she would not be able to have children or it would be hard to have children, therefore, this was such a blessing and we could not be any happier.On February 16, 2025 we finally got engaged in Colorado while on a sleigh ride in the mountains! It was important for us to be married for our son, Hayden, therefore we got married on June 20, 2025 at our venue, The Star Barn, for our vow renewal ceremony. On June 27, 2026 we will celebrate our marriage in partaking of renewing our wedding vows at The Star Barn for our 1 year anniversary and our son will get to join us! We truly feel so blessed and showered in Gods faithfulness as we have navigated this journey together. We are blessed to have you apart of our lives!
