Corey and Robert started speaking on the internet and had an immediate connection. They had spoken for several months before meeting on August 28, 2010 at Robert’s birthday party at Soho in Ferndale, MI. After a year, Corey and Robert moved into this first apartment together in Southfield, MI (which Robert quickly learned apartment living is not for him). The following year, they bought a home in Hazel Park, MI in which they called home for the next ten years. In 2022, Corey and Robert moved into their new home in Southgate, MI; which is the location that Robert proposed to Corey in front of family and friends.
