Thank you so much for visiting our wedding website. We cannot wait to celebrate with our friends and family in September 2022. We know that our wedding is on Labor Day weekend and hope that everyone is able to take a little time to explore the area throughout the weekend. Our Story

Places to Stay

We have reserved a block at the Courtyard by Marriott in Westwood, MA. This is where we will be staying. This hotel is walking distance from Route 128/ University Ave Commuter Rail &amp; Amtrak Station, restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. It is less than a 10 minute drive from the venue. To receive the reduced rate reservations must be made before August 3, 2022. Limited rooms are available. Please call the hotel or use this link to receive the reduced rate.

Courtyard by Marriott Boston Dedham/Westwood

We have reserved a block at the Hilton Garden Inn in Canton, MA. This hotel is walking distance from Trillium Brewing Company. It is less than a 15 minute drive from the venue. Getting to Massachusetts

Logan, in Boston, is the closest airport to Dedham. There is also public transportation available from Logan to Dedham.

This station in Westwood, right next to Dedham, is less than 10 minutes from our wedding venue. Both MBTA commuter rail trains and Amtrak trains stop at this station.

Route 128/ University Park Station (Amtrak)

Traveling in the Greater Boston Area

Public transportation in the Greater Boston area is excellent. If you do not have access to a car while attend our wedding you should be able to enjoy a lot in the Boston area without renting a car and using minimal Ubers/ Lyfts. If you have any questions about how to get to a particular area of the city from where you are staying just ask!

Here you'll find the schedules for the bus, commuter rail, and the T (Boston's subway system). A few things to note:-The Silver Line provides transportation to and from Logan.-There are 2 commuter rail stops in Dedham, Endicott Station &amp; Dedham Corporate Station. Route 128/ University Park Station &amp; Readville Station are also very close.-There are multiple bus stops in Dedham that can easily get you to Boston for a day of exploring.

The MBTA (Public Transportation) 

If you're looking for a fun way to explore the city and get in some exercise rent a Bluebike! One of our favorite rides is up and down the Charles River. There are protected bike paths on both the Boston and Cambridge side of the river.

We know this is Labor Day weekend, so we encourage our friends and family to make a trip of it! Take a day trip into Boston or spend a night on the Cape - here are a few of our recommendations.

Take a Quick Trip to Boston

Take a quick 25 min train ride to downtown Boston. Please see the "Travel" section of our website for information on public transit for the Greater Boston area.

Spend a night on Cape

If you plan to visit the Cape please reach out! We'll see what you're looking to do and give you the best recommendations on where to sleep, what to eat, and what to do.

Explore the Outdoors

We love to take a quick walk through Wilson. See if you can find the old hunting lodge or the view of Boston (tip - you have to climb the big rock at the very top!)

Wilson Mountain Reservation

With entrances in both Dedham and Needham this 739 reservation is home to more than 100 species of birds.

Cutler Park Reservation

Vivian spent her childhood visiting the Blue Hills with her mom and even worked here in high school. Here you'll find easy walking paths or more rigorous hikes. Be sure to stop by the Trailside Museum, where you can see injured wild animals the naturalists are working to rehabilitate.

This city owned, Harvard managed arboretum was designed by Charles Sprague Sargent and Fredrick Law Olmsted. Home to 14,980 individual plants this 281 acre arboretum is easily one of our favorite places. We also took our engagement pictures here. Walk up Pete's Hill for one of the best views of Boston.

Drink & Eat

Be sure to take a stroll through Dedham Square and check out our local businesses! You can pop into the Boston General Store and The Nest for some shopping, grab a bite at Oscar's or Kouzina, and then see a movie at the Community Theater.

Oscar's is known for its excellent beer list and great burgers! Check them out for a bite right in town.

Kouzina is our favorite restaurant in the square! We highly recommend the Greek salad with grilled chicken, spanakopita, the Greek burger, and the meatless grape leaves.

If you're a coffee fan George Howell will not disappoint.

Juliet is one of our favorite restaurants. Especially their brunch! We recommend going with a group and ordering a few dishes to share. We especially love their pastries and breakfast tacos. If you plan to attend for dinner please note that reservations are required.

Dali is one of the best Spanish tapas restaurants in the area. Everything on the menu is amazing. Don't forget to save room for for churros! Reservations are typically required. If you have a small party you can try to get there early and grab a seat at the bar without a reservation.

If you love beer you will not want to miss the opportunity to drive out to Tree House. It's about 1 hour from Dedham, but is always worth the drive. When you arrive you'll be able to have a pour, grab a bite from a food truck and explore their walking trails. Don't forget to get some cans to go!
