“You had me at hello”, became true for Robert and Stella when they said hello to each other through an online dating site. That was the beginning of their love story! 
Their first date was at Win Tavern on February 1, 2020. Stella and Robert felt the connection right away with an endless conversation discovering everything about each other. They quickly realized that they both had a love for nature, collecting rocks and of course, FOOD! They have explored all over Michigan and Indiana at various nature parks and lakes while rock haunting, foraging and admiring the beauty of the nature. Stella was intrigued at how knowledgeable Robert was with rocks and plants. Robert in exchange, enjoys Stella's cooking very much. They both like to try different restaurants, different types of food, and especially supporting the small local businesses. For Robert, someone who’s caring and has a sense of humor was a must. He was happy to have found that trait in Stella. One essential thing Stella was looking for, was the love for her children and their wellbeing. Robert understands and respects that of her, and being adored by her kids validates the perfect man that she saw of him. 
They have built a strong love and respect for each other while learning their differences and overcoming obstacles in life together, making them stronger as a couple. Robert and Stella's love story will not end when they say, “I do” but will continue to build that story with their united family - Eddie, Jacob, Ashley, Drew, and Butters!
