Though they both grew up in Smithtown, NY and attended the same high school, Robert and Samantha's story began many years after high school with a swipe on the dating app, Hinge! Rob won a date with Sam by asking to skip the small talk and meet up in person to get to know each other. Their first date consisted of dinner at Iberico, drinks at Luca, and a walk along the Stony Brook Harbor.

Rob and Sam enjoy spending time together doing things outdoors. Many days and dates spent at the beach, hiking, paddle boarding, or sitting by the firepit in their backyard.

On April 13, 2024, Murphy Jean Koke, made her grand entrance into this world! Weighing 6 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long, Murphy stole both their hearts and made their love grow stronger.

A few months later, on July 11th, on their first family outing to the beach, Rob got down on one knee and asked for Samantha's hand in marriage. Being in the depths of postpartum and newborn bliss, Samantha was taken completely by surprise! They are so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife!
