Our Wedding

It started back in 2016 when we met for the first time at Camp Guggenheim as campers. We were just friends and barely talked to each other. In the summer of 2017, when we were campers together again, we got a little closer but remained friends. In the summer of 2019, Robert planned on working at Guggenheim but decided not to, a few weeks before camp started. The job opened up, and Maggie got messaged by her family to work at the camp. Maggie worked there, and Robert came to volunteer at the camp for the last 2 weeks. During this time, our relationship bloomed. When the summer ended, Maggie returned to Raleigh, NC, and Robert went to Daytona Beach, FL, for school. We decided to do long distance. We would visit each other every 2 weeks and would call and Facetime for hours. We powered through COVID together, going months without seeing each other. Moving to 2022, Robert graduated from Embry Riddle and moved back to Gouverneur, and Maggie was still in Raleigh trying to finish nursing school. We continued to power through and still do the long distance. Flash forward to May 2024, Maggie graduated college, and that same weekend, Robert proposed. We have done long distance for 99% of our relationship and are still going strong!&nbsp;
