In the middle of the pandemic, neither Rob or Lexi thought it was possible to find a “forever”. Little did we know, that one swipe would change our lives for the better! In January 2021, we started going on dates, which soon led to a relationship. We quickly bonded over a love for our families and High School Musical! A couple of our favorite things to do are hang out at D2, make trips to Door County, and go out for date nights. While we love going out on dates or with friends, we found true comfort just by being in the same room. Rob would game with his friends while Lexi would read or catch up on watching her TV shows. As long as we are together- we are happy. After meeting each other’s family, it was clear how close we grew to each other’s siblings. Rob grew up with a sister, and Lexi grew up with 3 brothers. Lexi and Beth instantly became friends, and Rob fit right in with Lexi’s brothers Grant, Cameron, and Connor. After about a year and a half of dating, May 2022, we moved into an apartment together. After learning to live with each other, we started to discuss long term plans. Fast forward a year to June 2023, we went on a long weekend vacation to Door County together. Little did Lexi know, Rob had big plans for that trip. After going to a fancy dinner on that Friday night, Rob took Lexi for a walk along the water by our hotel. Rob got down on one knee and asked Lexi to be his forever. Without a thought, Lexi said yes! Rob organized for both families to be in Door County that night to celebrate the engagement at one of our favorite restaurants. We could not be happier for this next chapter of our lives together, and we are very excited to celebrate our true love with our family and friends on 09/28/2024!
