Robert and Katie met in the 5th grade through the Wisconsin Lutheran High School Jr. band program. They talked a bit on occasion but didn't become friends until the summer of their freshman year of high school. They became best friends shortly after Robert decided not to let the pretty girl sit all alone during dinner at marching band camp. After camp, the couple became inseparable and were almost always together. Their first "date" was to the LEGO Batman Movie, even though Katie thought Robert was asking her as a friend. The two started dating on June 20th, 2017, and have shared many wonderful moments, usually over music or Drum Corps, for the past six years. In fact, on July 3rd, 2023, Robert proposed to Katie the same way they started dating, at a Drum Corps show. Robert and Katie are so excited to be getting married and can't wait to share their special day with you.
