Rob and I met through our wonderful friends. One of those friends I happened to be complaining to about my dating woes, when they let me know that they indeed knew someone I might be interested in. I took the leap and asked to be set up, completely unaware that I was about to meet the love of my life. I may have been nervous to meet someone new, but once Rob and I started talking, I knew almost immediately that he would be important in my life. He made me feel safe and loved from the very beginning, and falling in love with him didnt feel like falling at all; it felt like coming home. I cant wait to spend the rest of my life loving him.

Life finds a way. Just as the world shuts down due to a pandemic, a beautiful rose sprouts through the concrete in the form of our love. We met outside a bar called Death and Taxes, which is fitting because a love this special turned out to be just as inevitable. She was shy at first, as she was deciding if she wanted to keep talking to this charming stranger. Little did that charming stranger know that she already knew that he thought she was gorgeous and very interested in something more, thanks to their shared best friends breaking the news to her earlier that night – Thank you, Garrett and Zoey, for putting a good word in for me and introducing me to my best friend!

I knew she was the one right away (yeah, yeah, but honestly), the first moment I heard her sing, I knew she was the songbird of my life that I would never be without. The romantic in me cannot believe how perfectly life finds a way to bring these two kids from Reno together. I am so honored to be her husband and beyond excited to start a family and share a life as one. I love you so much, baby. Heres to us and the beautiful memories we will make on this day and every day after as we fall further in love and further in debt (just kidding).
