Our Wedding

Having plans to camp all weekend, we drove 3 hours just to break down in the middle of nowhere Vermont. With our plans suddenly flipped upside down, our luck changed when friendly Vermonters came to our aid in the middle of the night. A local sheriff helped keep us safe on the side of the road until our tow truck came. Our tow truck driver who was supposed to be on his night off, drove an hour to pick us up and take us to a local mechanic. The lovely Airbnb couple who own the camp site where we were staying, drove 25 minutes to pick us up so we didnt have to sleep in our car. Little did we know, they had a 5 day old newborn, and still went out of their way to help us. After a frigid night of camping, they drove us back to the mechanic shop, only to find they weren't open this Saturday. Determined not to let the weekend go to waste, we walked to an auto parts store with our minds set on trying to fix the car ourselves. With snow coming down around us, we worked on the car for two hours until a few guys from the shop showed up and offered to help us. After putting the car on the lift, it became clear this was not going to get fixed today. With no transportation to get to the nearest rental car agency 30 miles away, they graciously trusted us to drive ourselves in one of their cars to pick up a rental.&nbsp;

Finally back in a working car, we decide to push through and still drive an hour and a half to hike Stowe Mountain. With little time left for a long hike, we find a short hike that ends at a 100 foot waterfall. In front of the falls, we set up the GoPro to take a picture of us. Preparing to take the picture, Robert gets down on one knee and asks me to spend my life with him. Ecstatically saying yes, he puts the ring on my finger. With the typical style of this weekend, we figure out the GoPro got too cold, and turned off, not catching a word. We look at one another, and start laughing at the absurdity of it all. As we are walking back to the car in the sleet and rain, rob tells me he has another surprise for me. We are not going back to our campsite tonight. 20 minutes later, we roll up to a gorgeous ski resort at the base of Stowe Mountain. When we get to our beautiful room, Rob pulls out heals and a dress for me and reveals we are going to celebrate with dinner reservations. What started out as bad luck turned into the best, most romantic weekend of our lives, and we couldn't be happier!

We are planning a two week trip to... somewhere undecided, yet amazing! We will spend one week doing humanitarian volunteer work, and the other week exploring whatever country we end up in.&nbsp;

Your presence at our wedding is the&nbsp;most&nbsp;important present to us! We do know however that some guests will want to give&nbsp;gifts, and we thought this would be a great way to do so. We will have a card box at the reception, and while gifts are absolutely not expected, please feel free to drop in a card or even just a note with wedding well-wishes. Thank you!!

If you are having trouble RSVP-ing, try typing in your name the way it appeared on the save the date or&nbsp;invitation.&nbsp;If it is still not working,&nbsp;it is probably a spelling&nbsp;mistake on our end (if any of you know Bekah, she&nbsp;is not the strongest&nbsp;speller,&nbsp;so that would not be surprising), and please reach out to us!&nbsp; 





If you have any food restrictions, please note them after you make your meal choice, in the box&nbsp;where the site&nbsp;prompts&nbsp;you to send a message to the bride and groom. These restrictions&nbsp;can be catered to, as long as we know about them beforehand.















INVITES:















We want all of our guests&nbsp;to be able to relax and celebrate with us, so&nbsp;children are not invited to&nbsp;the wedding.&nbsp;We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes, and&nbsp;hope finding a sitter won't be too tough!















If your name&nbsp;and your partners name are on the invite, you are both invited to our wedding!&nbsp;















If your invitation is addressed to the whole family (e.g.&nbsp;Stein Family), that means you probably have adult "kids" so&nbsp;the whole motley crew is invited!















If just&nbsp;your name is on the invite,&nbsp;you are&nbsp;invited&nbsp;to our wedding!&nbsp;

All of the rooms include free parking. The club floor rooms include&nbsp;up to two free breakfast vouchers per room. The club level rooms are $20 more, and this difference is due to the breakfast vouchers. The breakfast vouchers gain you access to the&nbsp;m&m bistro which is located in&nbsp;the Hilton.











The hotel is about two blocks away from the wedding venue, where both the&nbsp;ceremony and reception will be held. It is an&nbsp;easy five minute walk, so there should be&nbsp;no need for car rentals. With both&nbsp;the wedding and hotel being conveniently located&nbsp;downtown, there are lots of places nearby to get food, coffee, and beer. L'Chaim! (Cheers in Hebrew)

This is the closest and most convenient airport. If you fly in here, a 15 minute Uber or Lyft will get you downtown Hartford (where the venue and hotel&nbsp;are located)!
