Our Wedding

It is hard to believe how much has happened since our friends played matchmaker and nudged us toward each other in the fall of 2022. It is a story for another time, but the improbable chain of events that led to us being set up by our friends is truly a story unto itself. Our first date began at a local bar for pre-dinner drinks with both of us arriving over 30 minutes late—a rare occurrence, as punctuality is usually one of our strong suits. As the night unfolded, we shared effortless conversation, completely lost track of time, and ultimately realized we had missed our dinner reservation by two hours—again, highly unusual for us. After snagging a new reservation, we were finally seated for dinner around three hours into our date. We enjoyed late-night snacks and bourbon cocktails paired with shared stories and lots of laughter. From that night on, we’ve embraced every opportunity to explore life together. Whether it’s introducing each other to our favorite restaurants, embarking on new adventures with our dogs, Charleston and Charlotte, or spending time with friends and family, every moment feels special. We complement each other perfectly—like Bob’s ability to reach the top shelf and Gracee’s expert cooking skills—and each day is filled making new memories together. As we prepare for the grand adventure ahead, we are filled with excitement for our upcoming special day. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you and party the night away.
