Our Wedding

RJ and I met at church on April 9th 2023&nbsp; He didn’t pay me much mind but my little brother was quite convinced he had “much potential.” Our&nbsp;lives were pretty separate and&nbsp;our&nbsp;paths only crossed on a few occasions.There were a few interactions we had that grew my affection towards him, and I often found myself including him in many of my prayers.RJ was pretty busy with life and family and wasn’t looking for a relationship around this time.&nbsp; We had communicated about a few things prior to this, but I ended up inviting RJ to a sport event that the young adults ministry was putting on at&nbsp;our&nbsp;church.&nbsp;We ended up being very intentional throughout the day to be around each other and talked on some very deep topics such as marriage, divorce, family, BLM, and politics. (Light conversation starters, we know!) We were both refreshed with how organic it was to talk and share opinions on things most people turn a blind eye to.&nbsp; Our&nbsp;affection towards each other grew from there and RJ officially asked me to be his girlfriend on April 24th 2024 We grew to love each other and pushed towards spending the rest of&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives together. RJ proposed on May 25th 2025&nbsp; The deal was sealed and now here we are sitting and writing&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;story&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;wedding website.&nbsp;What a precious time of discovering the will of God over both of&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives together.&nbsp;We want to publicly thank the Lord for this precious gift of&nbsp;our&nbsp;relationship, and thank you to Daniel for introducing us, and to Trinity who encouraged RJ to think of me as more than just “Trin’s friend”&nbsp; What a treasure it is to have found the one whom&nbsp;our&nbsp;soul loves.

Our story - Kristianna's Perspective

You know that feeling after an impactful day? A day that you realize will have a major effect on your life? Well, that day for me was March 23, 2024. Kristianna invited me to a Young Adults Capture the Flag event that turned into her bringing me on a wild ride with the group to lunch, the pool, and finally, Ikea for a new bed. That long “out-of-my comfort zone” day led to us having so many different conversations. After that day ended around 11 PM, I knew that this day was going to one for the record books. About a month later we started dating, and we continued to learn more about each other. We began talking about the possibility of us making it all the way to the finish line and getting married. We were fervently praying to God to seek His guidance on our lives and relationship. We had our first date on April 29th at Disney Springs. The hostess at the stand of Maria and Enzo’s ended up speaking wisdom and encouragement into our lives and new relationship. She pulled up a chair we spent the rest of our time waiting for our food talking to her. Later that year, Kristianna and I both jumped into our church’s youth group in August as leaders for middle school girls and boys respectively. Not only were we able to serve our community and minister to kids in our church, but we were also able to do it together! It was an amazing moment in our relationship. We spent many amazing moments creating so many core memories together! The top 3 memories that come to mind are: Horseback riding for Kristianna’s Birthday, our one-year anniversary trip to Disney World, and our sunrise trips to the beach. I am so thankful to have met my best friend and for all the amazing memories we have created so far! What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate. Mark 10:9
