WHERE ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
The ceremony will take place at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Charlotte. The reception will take place at Raintree Country Club. Both venues are indoors, however, Raintree will have a patio area to be both an indoor and outdoor venue.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?
We recommend arriving to St. Matthew Catholic Church about 30 minutes or so before the official ceremony starts, this way you are able to settle in.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?
We are working with an awesome photographer (shoutout to Jessie Erickson) who will be taking pictures the entire evening. We ask that you take pictures and videos from your seats at the Ceremony to ensure the aisle stays clear for our photographer. After the ceremony is over, you will be allowed to take pictures and videos as you please!
WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION TO THE CHURCH OR RECEPTION VENUE?
No, we will not be providing transportation for guests to either the ceremony or reception location(s). We have hotel blocks in the area that are located close by for easy transportation via Lyft or Uber. There is also onsite parking at both the ceremony site and reception venue.
THERE IS A BREAK BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION START TIME, WHAT DO WE DO TO PASS THE TIME?
In order to capture the day with our families, we will be doing wedding portraits directly after our ceremony. Please arrive to Raintree Country Club for our reception at 6PM. In the meantime, please check out our "Things to Do" tab on this website. Suggestions include grabbing a beverage at a wine bar in Waverly, taking a look at the exhibits at the Mint Museum or checking out the Southpark Shopping Center!
CAN I BRING A DATE?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your invitation as "Guest" - please include them when you RSVP. If you did not receive a plus one, you may not bring a date.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The attire is formal. The ceremony and the reception will both be indoors. For men, a dark suit and tie are acceptable. For women, a formal or cocktail dress will do. Please no jeans!
