I have known Kim for about 5 years during Hurricane Harvey. In the time we have known each other, we have become family. She is a level-headed solid person who is sincere and 100% real all the time. I can also depend on her to be honest and give me her perspective. I can always count on her for a good time and lots of laughs.

I have known Tiffany for about 20 years, she is an amazing Nurse practitioner, mother, and friend. Tiffany has always given me the best advice through the years, we can have tough talks and she allows me to see both sides. She keeps me thinking and on my toes. Has always pushed me to be my best self, even when I don't want to.

I met Germaine sophomore year in college at Stephen F. Austin. She was my study and party buddy. We remained friends after college and ended up being pregnant with our first child at the same time. Our sons are only 5 days apart. Germaine has a calm cool soul who is always on my side (even when I'm wrong). I love you for that!

I met Ireese during my first year of teaching in 2005. She is an amazing teacher who always garners the respect of everyone she meets. We have been friends for 19 years and have weathered the educational storms together. Ireese has been my prayer partner who always has been there to pray for me through life's trials. Through graduate school, raising kids, and career changes she has always been there to encourage and uplift me along the way.

I met Ashley in 2004/2005 shortly after moving to Beaumont, Texas. We have been friends and raised kids together for over 20 years. She is an awesome mother, nurse, wife, and daughter who is always there when I need her.

I have known Karama since I was 17 years old, she has always been a friend and a mentor to me. We have grown into graceful women together and have been there for each other through the ups and downs in life. Our friendship has stayed the course for over 26 years.

I have known Uveka since 2003 while in college. She is my road dog who is always ready for the next adventure. We have traveled the world together and have had many adventures. I know I can always count on her to come, not on time, but she is coming. lol

I have known Brandilyn for about 17 years, we first met as teachers at Memorial High School and have remained friends over the years. Her family is like family to me and the boys. I can always depend on her for solid sound advice and the best fun times.

Karen is one of Karl's sisters, she is the twin of Sharon (best Woman). I have known Karen for about a year. She has also embraced me as a part of the Whitley family and made me feel comfortable. She is fun to be around and always brings the good vibes to the family gatherings.

The BIG CUZ Andre has been the enforcer and the tie breaker in all arguments. Him and his wife have led the pack in our family for a long time. From 49er games to pool parties they have been the standard in the family for years. If I ever called the big Cuz , I knew he was already on the way.

Jason Whitley has been one of my favorite cousins since I was in 1st grade. We were neighbors for over 4 years and have remained close over the years. I admire his work ethic. He is a hard worker and a good family man.

Coach Hickman has been closer than a brother for the past 8 years. He worked as an A.P. for one year with me before becoming the Athletic director at West Orange High School. From the casino to the football field we have made history in Orange County.

Coach Christopher Castille has been my family since his brother Phillip, himself, and Justin were in middle school. He is currently working with me as the Head Basketball Coach at West Orange High School. Go Mustangs

I have known Major Jeremy Houston my whole life. We played on the same football team in high school at Thomas Jefferson. He is married to my sister Brandy and served with my twin brother Korey in the Army and on the Police force.

Justin Fisk aka Jay-Five....From Summer track to College Track records to front yard one on one foot races on the block. I have always looked up to my little cousin. I can still remember video taping our dunk contest in his driveway over 30 years ago.

My cousin Kenneth has saved my life more times than I can remember. From my days on the yard at PV to my life and times in Houston Texas. His drive to become the best Father and Husband he can be makes me strive to be better as well.

Mike Monsta......the Big/little brother. Even though we are older than Mike there is nothing little about Lil Mike. He and his Mother and brother and sister have been apart of my life since I opened my eyes. We have been around the world and back.

From the windy city of Chicago came a brother-in-law like no other. In my freshman year at PVAMU, I was visited by my closest relatives. Him and his wife (my sister) Shannon let me use their car while I was hustlin to buy one for myself. He visited me a few years ago on a weekly basis when I was in a bind he was always willing and able to help out.

My cousin has always guided me through the tough days and has the best advice when it comes to the ladies. He showed me how to fish and hunt and can do anything with his hands. If I had an issue with a car, he was always there to lend a hand.

My Family has been my support system my whole life and at the head of the siblings is my favorite Sharon. When I need her she was always there. She didn't have my back because she was out in front making a way. Of all my siblings Sharon and I share a special bond that goes without saying.
