Robin had always prioritized her lovely daughter, Hannah, and for many years, she chose to avoid the dating scene. But once Hannah went off to college, Robin decided it was time to open her heart again and began exploring the world of dating.

Just when she was about to give up, she came across an older gentleman named Jeff on Facebook Dating.

Interestingly, Robin wasn't even on Jeff’s radar—she didn’t meet his search criteria. In fact, she was too young (seven years younger, to be precise).

But fate had other plans.

Robin “liked” Jeff’s profile, and that caught his attention. Intrigued, they started chatting, which quickly turned into deeper conversations. It wasn’t long before they decided to meet in person.

On June 18, 2022, they had their first date at Boone & Crockett. Jeff was instantly captivated by Robin’s intoxicating smile, warmth, kindness, intelligence, and beautiful sense of family. After drinks, they headed to Transfer Café, where Robin introduced Jeff to her favorite dish—Salami Bruschetta. Little did Jeff know this was a test that he could not fail. Not loving Bruschetta would be fatal to the relationship. Thank goodness he passed.

As the evening came to a close, Jeff grew nervous. He wanted to kiss her—but, being the gentleman he is, he asked first. Robin agreed.

And yes --There were sparks.

Their second date took place on June 25, 2022, at Tied House (then MobCraft Brewery), and things continued to blossom. The connection deepened with each conversation, each shared laugh.

Their third date on June 28, 2022, was at Summerfest, where they discovered a mutual love for live music—a passion that would become one of many shared joys in their relationship.

Over the next couple of years, Robin and Jeff’s bond grew stronger through shared adventures, late-night talks, and a love that felt easy and real.

One day, in a quiet moment, Robin playfully asked:

"Would you ever consider a future Mrs. Dremel?"

On October 6, 2024, Jeff answered that question with a ring, proposing during a magical hike at Maroon Bells in Aspen, Colorado.
