We met at The University of Mount Union while studying the same major, Exercise Science. As Robin switched to this major the middle of her sophomore year, we didn't become friends until roughly our junior year. Throughout spending most of our time in classes together and having mutual friends we soon became closer.

Fast forward to senior year, Robin attempted to impress Cory with her stellar good looks by wearing sweats everyday and her hair in a bun. This was when Cory realized he was hooked. After months of communicating to each other via our mutual friends, we finally went on our first date in February of 2020. For those of you who don't know, the day of our first date, Cory got into a minor car accident leaving Dunkin Donuts just hours before we were supposed to leave. With his strong desire and determination to go on this date, nothing was going to stop him. He told Robin he could still drive to their date, she would just have to climb through the drivers side of his car, as his passenger door was caved in and side mirror was missing.... Needless to say, Robin drove- and the rest was history.

During the winter of 2020, COVID-19 shut down everything and separated everyone. With us still residing on campus, we became closer than ever. Come April, Cory planned a picnic, and decided it was time to put a label on things.

Upon graduation, Robin moved back to her hometown while Cory stayed at Mount Union to attend Physician Assistant school. The long distance was a new challenge, but this did not stop our love for one another. After Cory graduated PA school, he accepted a job in Chardon and moved closer to Robin while she went back to school for Nuclear Medicine. Shortly after this move, we got a golden retriever and named him Raider.

On October 28th, 2023 Cory asked Robin to marry him and spend the rest of our lives together. We are SO excited to celebrate with everyone on November 2nd, 2024 as we start the next chapter of our story!
