We met in a bar, it was love at first sight, and the rest is history!

JK...

We met outside the bathroom at a bar called Admirals Cup in Fells Point, Baltimore. Apparently Robin and her friends were making a scene (definitely debatable). It was not love at first sight, but we exchanged numbers, and went our own ways.

We texted for a couple months, learning about each other, and sharing our interests. We bonded over our love of traveling, romcoms, adventuring, food and faith. We decided to get together for the first time after meeting in the bar to watch a movie, but Sangburm ended up spending the night in the ER instead, after cracking his head open while riding a scooter in Baltimore.

Eventually, we met up to bake cookies, and couldn't deny our instant chemistry. We spent many weekends exploring Baltimore together, sharing our favorite TV shows with each other, and trying out new restaurants. Robin practiced for all her PT school skills practicals on Sangburm, and even cured his vertigo after he cracked his head open...

Eight months after romantically meeting outside the bathroom at the bar, we decided to make our relationship official

Not soon after, the world shut down because of Covid! Sangburm moved back to VA, and Robin stayed in MD to finish PT school. We spent the beginning of our relationship dating from a distance (both long distance and a 6 foot distance)! We had to get creative and plan fun date nights apart.

We spent a couple more months apart when Robin moved to Arizona for a PT school clinical

But, Sangburm came to visit, and we had a great time road tripping back across the country to bring Robin home.

In May 2022, Robin graduated from PT school and moved to Virginia for her dream job (and, conveniently, this ended up being closer to Sangburm, too). Long distance was finally over!

We were able to spend much more time together, get to know each other's family and friends, and do all the things we were not able to do because of distance and a pandemic.

In May 2023, we went on a Lee family vacation to Aruba, where Sangburm got down on one knee!! He proposed a fun, adventurous, and loving future together, and obviously Robin said yes!

Over the past year, we bought our dream house, officially moved in together, have been busy planning the best wedding, and have been looking forward to spending an amazing day and life with the best family and friends EVER!
