All of your questions answered!

General

When do we have to let you know if we're attending?

Please kindly RSVP by June 7th 2025, however the earlier the better!


Are all the events held at the same venue?

Yes! The whole weekend will be held at Mas de Florette.


Are we invited to the whole weekend?

Yes! You are invited to the whole weekend and we also appreciate you may only be able to attend one or two of the events due to travel.


Are children invited?

As much as we'd love to invite all of your children, we are only able to accommodate some children, they will be addressed to on your invite.


Where can we stay?

We have provided some options close by in the accommodation tab and you can also check out Airbnb and Booking .com.


How do I know if I'm staying at the venue?

We will have contacted you separately so you would know by now. We would have loved to have everyone stay however space was limited.


What will the temperature be like?

It can range from 10 to 21 degrees at this time of year. We hope it will be comfortably warm. We suggest to bring a layer for the day just in case.


What meals are included across the weekend?

*Friday night dinner is wood fired pizza.

*Saturday canapes in the afternoon and dinner in the early evening. We will also have snacks in the evening.

*Sunday is a brunch with many different sweet and savory options.


Where can I park and can I leave my car overnight?

There is a designated parking area that is sign posted - please only park in this area. You can leave your car overnight on the Saturday and collect at brunch on Sunday anytime.


Do you have Taxi numbers?

Yes! These are on the venue section of the website.


Is there a place I can smoke?

Yes there is a designated smoking area on the property, we ask that you kindly only use that area and don't smoke anywhere else. Smoking in the tent area or parking lot is prohibited due to fire hazard for the surrounding areas.


Please respect the neighbours and leave the venue quietly.

Wedding Day

What time should we arrive on Saturday?

Please arrive at 1.30pm for a refreshing beverage and to be seated in time. The ceremony starts at 2pm.


What is the dress code for the Wedding Day?

Formal / Summer Formal

Eg. Suit & tie or a smart shirt - dress or smart top & trousers.

Dresses can be as colourful as you like - just not white/ivory please ;)


Can I take pictures?

We would love for you to take as many pictures as you'd like, however we have hired an amazing photographer and videographer so we ask that at the ceremony and speeches you let them document those parts of the day.

Social Media Etiquette: We ask that you don't post anything to social media until the weekend is complete. Thank you :)


Should we bring confetti?

No, please don't bring any confetti/rice/paper, we are in a national park so it is not allowed and we will be providing petals to throw after the ceremony.


Should I eat before I come to the wedding day?

Yes, on Saturday we would recommend having brunch or breakfast and a light snack before leaving.


I am bringing my baby/small child, what facilities are there?

While not all guests have access to the house we will have access to the kitchen and living room for families so you can feed your child, warm food or milk up and have a place for them to nap. We will also have access to two high chairs and there is a children's meal option.


Will there be speeches?

We are joining lots of traditions together. If you would like to say something at the wedding as with Danish tradition, there will be multiple opportunities across the weekend.


What happens if it rains?

We have options for an inside ceremony and a tent to cover the outside eating space if it does rain.

Friday Night / Sunday Brunch

What is the dress code for the Friday Welcome Pizza?

No dress code but we'll aim for Casual / Summer Casual


What is the dress code for the Brunch & Pool Day?

Casual - bring your swimwear if you'd like to swim!


I have to leave just after 10am on Sunday to catch a flight but would like to come to the brunch?

Please do come and eat before you travel back, we will not be offended if you leave straight away.


Do I need to bring a beach towel to the Sunday brunch?

Yes! If you're not staying on site we recommend bringing a towel.


What time is Sunday Brunch until?

We estimate around 5pm because we have some clean up to do prior to check out on Monday morning. You can arrive from 10am and stay for as long as you like until that time.


Do you have any dinner recommendations for Sunday night?

There are lots of lovely restaurants in Gordes and also a lot of hotels/guest houses in the area offer dinner. Please note that most of the french will eat lunch at 12-2pm and then restaurants close up until around 7.30pm for dinner.

If you are staying at the venue and not leaving until Monday we will figure out a dinner.
