We met through mutual friends the summer before we started dating. At the time Dylan had just gotten out of a serious relationship and Robyn was in a relationship ... we never saw each other or hung out again.

The next summer we were both single. Robyn remembered Dylan and thought he was cute, so she followed him on Instagram, though after following him on instagram thought he was just "a pretty boy." Dylan then followed her back and after a few weeks "shot his shot" and slid into Robyn's DM's when Robyn posted a picture of her in a Zoot outfit (the team Dylan is on for his triathlons).

After a few weeks, Robyn agreed to go on a double date with Dylan and her twin sister, Rachel, and brother-in-law, Sheldon. They went to Emerson Biggins for beer, nachos and shuffleboard. Rachel thought that night was going great and invited Dylan to attend Open Streets (a block party in downtown Wichita) the next day.

The four of us ended up meeting Paul, Robyn's dad, at River City Brewing that afternoon. Rachel, again, thought that day was going great so she invited Dylan to Sunday Night Family Dinner in front of Paul, who followed her invite with "yeah, are you coming to dinner?"

Dylan went to Sunday Night Dinner that night and every Sunday Night Dinner since.
