Robyn and Ryan met by chance in early November 2020, when Robyn invited her friend Dan to come meet her family and he asked his buddy if it was ok to stop by on their way back from going to get coffee. Robyn wasn’t sure about dating anyone at the time but her sister seemed convinced she should give “the guy in the beauty and the beast hat” a chance. After a couple of days of Ryan tagging along on group hang outs they really started talking and had so much in common from a love of music on a good car ride, to collecting memorabilia from pop culture. Robyn thought they had so much in common that on a trip to the mall with friends in a funny attempt to gage if he liked her Robyn stole one of his baseball hats and sent a ransom text calling herself a proud hat thief. (He found it funny thank god). Those next few weeks were crazy yet perfect filled with 2 am drives, and homework sessions outside the school gym.(where they shared their first dance) After awhile due to the pandemic Robyn and Ryan were stuck quarantining together when Robyn’s dorm went on lockdown and she wasn’t there. By the end of that year they decided to officially move in together. Those next few years went by in a flash full of dance showcases, parties at their apartment, getting their dog Koda, and taking in many college friends on their couch. Together they built a life full of chaos and laughter and now 5 years later are getting to celebrate that love by getting married surrounded by many of their family and friends.
