First time we met

Picture of First time we met

Funny story, so Jason was actually a embedded math tutor in the class at Pima Community College that I was taking. One day I was having some extreme difficulty with solving an equation and asked him for help. He tried his best but ended up making me more confused than I originally was. So I went to the teacher, who come to find out was Jason’s dad. Lol this was back in spring 2017.

When we became friends

So although I met Jason in 2017, it wasn’t until 2019 that I really “met him”. I had just begun my job of Tutoring in English and Literature when out of no where comes in this big tall guy who begins chatting with my friend Angelica. I never really paid him any attention, although I did recognize him. Then through the following months he began to bring in baked goods for those working and since he is a great baker, the pastries and desserts were absolutely mouthwatering. Him and I began to just chat at any point and time and it began a friendship. Plus, a battle of the bakers...

Our first big date

In March of 2020 before the pandemic had hit Jason and I went to the Renaissance Fair up near Phoenix. It was his first time and we had a blast. Our favorite things from that day were the different escape rooms and the amazingly delicious bread bowls, Turkey legs, and Sorbet we had.

Our love for baking

Some people may not know this but Jason and I really bonded over our love for baking. Him and I both enjoy baking yummy sweets, pastries, and desserts as often as we can. This actually became a little competition between the two of us when we were working as tutors at Pima Community College because we would each bring desserts in at different times and see who at the college liked which desserts better. I tend to get a lot of compliments on my brownies and peach cobbler where as he is really famous for his various banana breads. I would say that we balance each other out quite effectively when it comes to our skills and baking and cooking. What’s one weakness for one maybe the strength of the other.

When I knew he was the one

About May of 2020, I began to really see that I had fallen in love with Jason. My heart soared every time he laughed or smiled, and his green eyes were the most enchanting I had ever seen.
